PETER OBI VOWS TO DEAL WITH OIL THEFT, DEBT SERVICING, UNEMPLOYMENT, AMONGST OTHERS AT CHATHAM HOUSE.

Mr. Peter Obi has spoken on some of the various challenges affecting Nigeria. They include, oil theft, massive unemployment, low electric supply, debt servicing, insecurity, and so on. The meeting took place at a Chatham House, a world leading policy institute and think-tank forum in United Kingdom.
The presidential candidate of the Labor party urged everyone to take a thorough review on his past records during his tenure as the governor of Anambra state. He mentioned that not only did he issue the payments of all salaries, He didn’t owe any gratuity or pension during his tenure as the governor.
Concerning the power sector of the nation, the 61-year old mentioned that there will be deliveries of 7,000 Megawatts by the end of 2023. He promised that the nation will be able to generate her own power by the time 2023 ends.
Mr. Obi Peter also spoke on his intention to increase foreign investments within the boundaries of the nation. In his words, he spoke about bringing back foreign investors like bee and honey by creating honey so bees will find it. This involves making the nation a center for business attraction.
His promises also involves depleting the rate of unemployed youths in the nation by introducing digital skills for both primary and secondary students. The introduction of technical and vocational skills in the above educational sector will launch in full speed. Tertiary institutions are not left out in this scheme, they will be rebranded as sectors for research development and commercialization.
